Born and raised in the alpine desert of Colorado, destined for the the ancestral lands of Oregon, she’s traded her sunny skies for deep, cool greens. Learning to paint as soon as she could hold a paintbrush, her interest in art and all things arty began before she can remember. Recently the career path has shifted with a sudden and urgent realization to put down the kitchen knife and hold on dearly to the paintbrush. Through her studies of portraiture and the figure she plays with light and mood, most interested in building emotion over detail. She works deftly with oils, charcoal and pastel.
